Memory #10-??
will be consolidating further memories into this post
Memory #10: Significant Neutral; Catching prey for the first time on her own.
Received: Day 109 (Jo)
With this shard, you get the sensation you are some sort of animal. Of course, that's helped by the fact that you're very obviously on four paws, giving chase to what appears to be a mouse. It evades you for a few seconds, but ultimately is caught between your teeth, blood warm and tangy-- but, perhaps more importantly, you look back to a much larger... fox? for approval, pleased. The other creature does not share your fur color, being a white-gold instead of orange, and has a great many tails behind it. It-- she, given the voice-- praises you on your clean kill.
"Our wild cousins play with their food," she says, "But given our intelligence, we have no such need to be cruel, as we can find other methods of entertainment. Always remember to cause as little suffering to your prey as possible."
While a simple memory, it's an important one from Natsume's childhood, essentially being taught not to behave cruelly to the creatures that feed her. Currently, it won't have much of an effect on her morals(since she'd never felt the need for sadism anyway) but it will make her a bit more guilty about her treatment towards other teams in games.
Memory #11: Significant Positive; Accepted into Cirque du Majestico
Received: Day 110 (Nyssa)
A memory of the moment Natsume was brought into the director's office(a middle-aged man, evidently inhuman judging by the scales and sharp nails on his hands, and another manager, a woman not much younger than him with a cat's tail and ears) to be told she'd been accepted into the Circus and that her try-out was phenomenal. HAPPY TEARS!! and hugs and pats on the back and "Welcome to the family" is the thing that most sticks out in her memory.
